That is just the practical side of it. I am a pacifist and do not believe violence solves non violent situations. I was not always a pacifist, I spent 3/4 of my life learning the hard way that violence is not the way to solve most of life's problems.

If the guy tries to swing on me when I tell him what I think of his actions that is a whole other story. Life has taught me that counter attacks are more effective in most situations as well.

No. I only ruled out first contact violence. So if some guy walks up grabs ass you immediately get into a fight, and if in public with witnesses go to jail? Has this ever happened to you? Is that what you are telling me you would do? Regardless of the details of the situation?

There are more factors to a situation like that then what was stated.

Does the guy just do a quick drive by grab and not look back?
When you ask him what was that about, does it matter if he apologizes or tries to play it off like it didn't happen, or it was an accident? Do you still hit him?

Does the guy do a slap that actually hurts her?
Where are we when this happens?

Also many women I tend to date would take it as an insult to her ability to take care of herself for me to get all macho and try to protect her from every little creep that she has been able to handle her whole life . . .

This is not a binary situation. There is not a single yes no answer for this kind of thing.

I would act the same why I described the way I would want my guy to act. I am not a brainless animal that acts physical or violent.

Starting with the azzz grabbing -- people should not put their hands on another person. I believe this from a right to privacy stance as well as a legal stance. I've been on too many ride alongs for my course of study to acknowledge any kind of archaic, juvenile violence.

Yep. Dealing right and proper with life starts with thinking with a clear head.

Sure its disrespectful, and it can hurt your feelings, and make you angry that someone would do that. It can even test your sense of self worth and your idea of your own "manly-ness" or "authority" whatever words you want to describe it.

I think a lot of people that do things like this are looking for a BIG reaction. That is the last thing I would give them.

I would probably give them a long silent blank look straight in the eyes and first try to understand the motive before I said a single word.

Most people who take more then a few second of direct eye contact (yet without a facial expression to indicate thoughts) find it very uncomfortable.

Sometimes a bigger statement of character is what you restrain yourself from doing . . . not the lack of restraint.

I spent 15 years of my life learning how to hurt people, now that is the last thing I want to do, Id rather understand them. (which sometimes make me want to hurt them)

First off I would never do that to some guys girl friend or wife... I would expect them to try and fight me.. I would be starting the fight by doing that.. I have way to much self respect and respect for others to go out looking for trouble like that...


That would be crossing the line.. The stare thing I reserve more for if he is hitting on her and being obviously disrespectful... If he grabbed her ass...he took it to the next level...I would slap him around a little so hopefully he would learn to respect relationships and basically give him a verbal moral lecture as well.. If he came at me in retaliation instead of being humble at that point-- I would show him how fragile he really is..

Ignore it and move on life's too short, to get in a fight. Besides, the girl should have the right to slap the sh!t of him not the guy, since it was her person that was invaded.

This is the only end result I have ever seen in a similar situation.

Guy walks up (doesnt even have to be an ass grab) guy says or does something rude. Girl hauls off and smacks dood, HARD, we all fall out laughing and pointing at dood, he walks away in shame. If he did anything other then walk away in shame Id be ready.
