how do you know that the person you have met online doesnt have herpes,i mean lets face it eventually with hope there will be sex,but how is one to know that the person isnt carrying a disease that will effect you for the rest of your life.. do you go down there with a miner's hat and inspect,is there any kind of test like a strip of litmus paper that you can insert and check against the color strip on the bottle that will tell you do you have them show up with the results of a recent doctors exam..are there dogs that sniff it out(o.k a bit extreme)lol..hmmm maybe not.. the thought of contracting a life time disease has totally put me off from sex (damn)..and lets face it asking someone and expecting the truth relies too much on other peoples honesty.. so the question is:how do you assure yourself that the person you are about to have sex with isnt carrying a disease: |

Hopefully you would get to know this person very well before it moves to that point and can trust them if not suggest that you both get check out and give the results to each other. I am sure they are wondering the same thing about you.

What's the difference if it's somebody you meet online, or somebody you meet in the grocery store?

Yeah, really. How is it going to be any different no matter where you meet someone?

sing..because if its someone youve met on-line its less likely that you will see them enough times to get an idea of their lifestyle unless they live close to you,but if its a relationship spannned by distance then its harder to investigate ..i.e as in stalking, lol checking out friends they hang with..and just basically getting a more indepth idea of what they are about |

Tom,
I have a few friends that got herpes. One lived with the man. One was engaged. One had the long term bf. Use protection. Food for thought. |

I usually just ask them....."Do you have herpes or any other communicable diseases"????
In this day and age it is always safer to use condoms. If I were to have sex without I would make us both get tested before any such things occured. |
