So...this article. Do you think any of this is scientifically plausable? I mean...it was written by a doctor... I don't think there can be any truth to it. The way I see it, there can be two cases: 1 If we are talking about politicians, then this suggestion that Democrats are mentally inferior is ridiculous. These people have figured out how to make poor people even poorer, and have managed to secure their support. Got to have a brain to get that done! 2 If we are talking about voters... I guess we can find crazy people on both sides. Nutz. But liberal thinking doesn't have it's root in mental sickness. Instead, the root is in lack of knowledge. Both Mises and Rothbard have noted that to think the way a socialist thinks, is natural to human mind. Only when you actually study the subject, it becomes clear that we naturally have no understanding of it. Let me put forward this analogy: Naturally, it seems that the sun rotates around the earth. Only when we study and examine the actual order of things, we arrive to the realization that it is quite opposite to what we naturally thought. Economics and social order is similarly misunderstood without studying. Founding fathers were very well educated people (government brainwashing is not education), and they have devised a system which is despised by most Americans today. Do you think this is because most Americans today are knowing more, or less than the founding fathers did? |
