in the short term, i think it can be therapeutic to show yourself that people still find you appealing. in the long term, i think you just need to let the old love wear off. |

nope. doesn't work... after my divorce, I got my GF, and we were together for 6-7 months. Helped b/c you had company, a shoulder to cry on etc. but eventually it didn't work out. you need your own space, your time to yourself, and the breathing room. to get over things...

I dont date guys fresh out of a divorce or breakup because they are still hurting and totaly focused on that other relationship.. You are just a springboard for their pain and a shoulder to cry to and its not fair to either one... unless its just a one night stand sortof thing.....but then again your just trying to numb the pain and you still wont feel better..... |
