Topic: Does It really Exist? | |
---|---|
Today I was awoken from my after work nap with a sappy romance movie on
TV, and It really had me wondering… Why can’t real love and things we go through actually turn out like stuff in the movies? I mean it is so picture perfect and beautiful it almost brings tears to my eyes. But it could never be. Or can it? Everyday I wonder where the perfect one for me is. One minute I think I found him and the next…I realize it really was not meant to be. And it kills me inside. Where is this so-called “Soul mate” or the “Mister Wonderful”? Do you even exist dude? Well I haven’t met you yet if you do exist. To be loved and to love someone as much back has got to be the most fulfilling feeling I have ever endeavored. It feel’s like I am literally floating on clouds. My whole world will stop when that person kisses me, touches me, or even looks me in my eyes. It has got to be my most favorite emotion. When I first realize that I care for a person, or love a person it just feels so fresh and new and wonderful. Though after a while you get comfortable with that person and realize that he/she isn’t exactly what you thought. That has got to be one of the worst levels of a relationship. Why can’t it feel fresh, new and wonderful all the time? Is it because I still haven’t found the right person? Is it because I don’t really know what love is? No! Can’t be. I’ve felt love…. I know love. So where am I going wrong? Maybe it will never be like in the movies. Maybe I’m living in a huge fantasy. Maybe not. Maybe So. What I do know is, I know he is out there somewhere. I hope anyway… |

Why can't a girl dream while she is away from the hectic life. Since

My dear Cass, sage always shows upmost respect to all the ladies and
even gentleman on here. I did not see anywhere on this thread that he wasn't showing you respect. He merely voiced his opinion to what to your post saying that life is not like the movies...it never is. |

Why can’t real love and things we go through actually turn out like
stuff in the movies? I think it is because they are very good actors and actresses that read from good scripts. Where is this so-called “Soul mate” or the “Mister Wonderful”? I think he is in a good book. I have read many myself and remember falling in love with Becky from "Huckleberry Finn" and Alice from "Alice In Wonderland". Why can’t it feel fresh, new and wonderful all the time? Because it gets old. If there was a way to refresh it that might be different. Is it because I still haven’t found the right person? That might be true. Is it because I don’t really know what love is? Excellent question. Maybe I’m living in a huge fantasy. Maybe not. Maybe So. I love fantasy. So much more nicer than reality, sometimes. |
