I've had sex on a beach before, but......oh look a kitty!

Sandroper is our nickname (western Australians) its not about sex or nude sunbathing just us, it is a critter (a bug) that brrows beneath the sand , as perth is surrounded by sand , we get to burrow ttoo. hope this helps. To be a sandgroper there are certain things you must do to qualify.

Well I do not burrow beneath the sand, but I do bury my kids in it at the beach on occasion.

I have traveled a lot in the USA , Mexico and the Caribbean but never overseas.. Would love to go to Australia though!! Lots of great things to see right in our own backyard!

That pic reminds me of Ft. Bliss and two weeks of field training in the desert.
We were still shaking sand out of our gear 12 wks later. To the OP, I think here in the states we call them sand crabs. |
