Okay I love my oldest sister but she just called an said she would be here friday with her husband, and they were going to drop her brother in law off at the motel (they know I don't like him).
So what do you do when you have a full week ahead, now you got to super clean your house, and get everything in order. I had to hide my private papers up in a safe because she is nosey. An will meddle through my things while I am gone.
Shes going to be staying a couple of weeks. Her husband and brother in law will spend that one night an leave going back the next day.
So please Help!! How do you handle when family just decides to pop in on you with no warning at all?

Do you have a window in your bathroom? If so, make sure you have an adequate supply of reading material, get yourself a little refrigerator and fill it. Then hide out in the bathroom. If you need to leave you just crawl out of the window.

Good Idea but sadly no window in my bathroom. Yeah she called but she knows that if I say no she cant come, she will call our mom and mom will go balistic so I have to say she can come LOL.

I am a bit nonplussed why would you allow your mom to go ballistic on you because you don't want your sister to visit. Is she paying the mortgage or rent? Does she own the property? Sounds like to me you are Allowing this to happen.

Me I have a sister I dont' really get along with I can handle about 3 days just about how long it takes Fish to start stinking. Then she must find other accomadations I have no problems saying that.

IF I was you I would call her back and tell her I am sorry I just looked and I will be extremely busy during that time so maybe another time would be better or I know of a great hotel etc... Maybe we can get together for dinner one night you are here.

You are the only one that can decide how much crap you eat. Only you can decide if you allow unwanted house guests in your home. The first time a house guest went through my personal papers would be the last time.
