In my experience, the thing they find most attractive is the idea of turning him into the complete opposite of what he is....it's like some kind of project that they get extra credit for.... I agree Lex, this is a problem with women. They consider him a project. I have been guilty of same. I learned now though that I must take him at face value. We have to accept good with bad and if he (in her opinion) has too much bad or undesireable than she needs to leave him alone instead of making he and she miserable trying to get another man out of the one she picked. You know, that seems so inherently self-evident to me, and obviously you've reached the same conclusion....but almost everyone I've ever been with has had the idea that the crux of the relationship revolves around her trying to change me into a farm animal. I still can't fathom the rationale behind this! A farm animal? lol Well I don't think I went that far but I always figured they were rough around the edges because they did not have a woman to soften the edges or they partied too much but after they had a woman to love them that would stop, not happening...lol If he parties too much for ya, leave him alone. If he watches too much sports for ya, leave him alone. If he likes his bachelorhood too much and you are ready to settle down, leave him alone. And don't give me the excuse "but I love him", obviously you do not love him enough because you want to change him into something else. |

I went to school for data entry, so, yea, i can usually type over 60wpm. Job market right now blows though, so, im a waitress instead! Yay me! Thank you, and you seem intelligent as well. :P

Well, I'm not entirely sure if you are what you say you are, but, I do think you're intelligent. :) And yea...I'm not exceedingly thrilled about the prospect of another failed relationship, that's why I put looking for dating for now. And, again, thank you for the compliment, lol.

Shannon you need to become a writer. You already exhibit alot of passion into it. Why not make it a living?

Sadly, more often than not, writers who have a passion for writing and use it to earn a living usually don't get to write about what they want to write about. I prefer to keep that part of me for myself. I've written some poems and whatnot, I guess I could try to write a book or something at some point. But, yea, realistically, being a new writer is crappy pay and passionless.
