Yes but......there's always a place in my heart for him. I still remember his scent and his laugh. Nothing but good memories for that one. hahaha sounds like Pepe Lepew Noooooooooooo.......  It's a good scent, really!

I got to see my first love after many yrs, in a hospital, in a coma from a drug overdose..he later died... I was glad I went, helped with closure...He always treated me like a princess...

Yeah. I've gotten over my first love a while ago. It's funny- all the other ones seem to go downhill after the first one.

I got over the heartache, but will always remember him fondly. He showed up on my doorstep about 3 years later and we gave it another shot, but it was never the same. We ended friends. Last I heard he was happily married with a couple of kids.

Hmmm What I thought was my first love was in HS and yes, I got over him long ago... My first real love was four years ago and while I think I'm over him, I don't know if I'll ever be over the trust issues he gave me with believing in love... If you love someone, how can you try to kill them after 3 yrs b/c you are insecure and it's all in your own head? I just don't get it...

Yes I got over her rather quickly I might add.. Also everyone after that. Even if they broke my heart. I healed , moved on as it should be. Never live in the past , but for the future.

My first love was the first girl that I kissed when I was 11 or 12. Seriously. Then met up with her again when I was 19 and she was 20. I didn't get over her for a long time..until we had spent 14 years together...7 on 2 off and 7 on. After the last time, I finally faced the fact that the fairy tale thing was all in our heads. From too long ago. She still crosses my mind from time to time and calls me every so often. But its a done deal. Those views are idealized and not real. One crazy b**ch! But still fine.

Because I remember why I loved them to start and don;t like to dwell on the bad parts. But I know that everyone, no matter how much we love one another, just can't live together. Lots of sad endings in life. Thats why I try to keep a bit of the good to remember...just not enough to go back. |
