Dump? I thought the protocol was to bury them under the stoop?

Dump? I thought the protocol was to bury them under the stoop? That's all well and good in theory, but what happens if you make it to my age? Just how much room do you have under your stoop? |

" 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover" So far only one 'really bad' "breakup" or "breakdown" . Some people just don't take "rejection" well at all... |

Have you ever dumbed anyone? Tell us how you did it. Yes and all situations involved me telling them that it wasn't working for me and I left. I know that sounds too basic but the process was usually I warned that I did not like things they way they were lots of times and then I would say that if I chose to leave I would not be coming back if things did not change. Then finally I had to leave because they either wouldn't or couldn't help me fix the problems we were having. Nothing dramatic or tricky with this, it is a hard choice to make. My heart broke each time. |

In my younger days yes.I can remember 4 off hand.We were young and it wasn't like a 2 yr. relationship.I just told them it was over for whatever reason it was.Only if it would hurt feelings or ego, then I would lie.Ex: I met someone yesterday and he has a Chevelle with a 396,he's also out of school a year already. Told you I was young.

Not real fond of the idea of dumping people. If you chose a relationship that doesn't meet your needs then it is a mutual failure so who "dumped" whom isn't real important.
Generally if I commit to be in a relationship I take it pretty serious and make what is and is not acceptable. If things are just not working I generally set down and talk about things several times to see if a correction can be made. If I see them making and effort then I redouble my efforts. If not then I tell them to their face it is over. In cases where I know someone made a concious decision to betray me then there are no second chances. They are more than likely to find that they, and any sembless of them is has collectively moved to storage. Then they have no reason to come around. I leave and don't look back. Since when I say no it is usually believed I don't get the drama as much as but if I did I wouldn't play around about it. |
