Topic: Paint color gone bad?! | |
---|---|
Well I tried my first painting job today and well, need less to say, it's the wrong color. What happened from soft yellow to unripe green banana peel coloring? I am so dead tomorrow when everyone see's it. LOL Oh well, can always paint over it tomorrow I guess.

My bathroom, which is kinda tiny and I thought by adding a nice soft yellow it would reflect the light better and make it look bigger. Now it just looks like a banada hahaha ohh my..

Throw in some of that long yellow and green shag carpet and nobody will notice. Make sure it has at least one unrecognizable stain. |

Otherwise the old paint might bleed through onto your new paint and create a whole new color you didn't intend on getting. |

Yeah. You can also put on a base coat as well. But you tend to wanna sand the old paint down so that the new paint sticks. Otherwise, it'll come off in fruit roll-up like sluffs that -needless to say- don't look too good.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. As of this weekend the wall is getting a paint over. Now that it's dried and i've gotten used to it i don't mind it but my mom will have no part in a lemon drop color, too bright for her :P

White is always right.
Its boring but I don't care. Its cheap and easy to clean. |
