This section here where we all read, feed and bleed.

Was at first just for a few poets who felt their need.

Now, we have added the creative side as part of this ride.

Not just through rhyme. But also through living time.

To express, impress, and sometimes just make a big mess.

We have all the breeding, for intellectual reading.

Yet, comic's for making us laugh out laud pleading.

Many here in this small community of cries and tries.

Have wisdom and grace to smack all of life in its face.

Older, wiser, words spoken here often, and repeated.

Still, so many talking of them selves never being defeated

Don't you all remember your first poem and the replies?

Well, many new poets try to show it here everyday.

What has happen to the poet forums soul to reach out.

WE all use to stand up and sometimes SHOUT.

To make them feel welcomed and to show we cared.

Once we were all united for the common love shared.

Now it seems like, someone has to be dared.

Just to reply to a new poet who only wanted it to be shared.

Show the hearts, our love, and that soul.

Which made THIS PLACE look and feel so great, to us all...



Peace, Love, and be Real..... I remember

People would read and it made THEM feel they HAD TO WRITE something.....just to feel a PART here..

I love coming in here and reading the poems and letting the people know how their poems make me feel...I enjoy poetry, reading and writing it...There is some beautiful thoughts and images within the poetry...

T, it seems the right time to visit the vault again and put this little rendering on show............. To all the poets, I raise my glass.


Words, the tools that brought them all together
Sharing tomes and verses relentlessly
A variation of souls,they flock like birds of a feather.
We've had poems that made us laugh and cry and some that have left us with a sigh
Whimsical fantasies have graced these pages
There are so many wonderful writers whose
offerings has had us all enthralled for ages
A journey to the milky way via some of our poets pens
Even held stars in our hands,played with childhood memories and made friends
Their imaginations have made us take steps into the unknown
And we've watched as the talents of others have grown
They've reached across culture's great divide
by throwing out an open invitation for all to step inside
We've shared their world and inner thoughts
So much happiness their rhymes have brought
We have had the pleasure to share so freely
The writings of our poets, shared so merrily
To name a single person would be unfair
But I do know we all have our favourites,I do declare
Isn't it wonderfuly to see words that appeal to all?
Some have spoken of winter,summer spring and fall
Others have written of loves' first stirring
There's even been a few that have told of passion........very daring
Marriages, births and yes, some have spoken of death
And still their words keep coming,there is still a ton to come, yet
A toast as well to all the readers of this forum
and to others who have posted quotes of decorum
Yes, I do believe in giving credit where it is due
So now I make use of the opportunity and this I will do
To the men and women who pen words of enjoyment
Here's to your talents,your words have been well spent
