Four more pals for April!!

 Okay, here's how this works.
Towards the end of every month I will ask for folks to be Secret Pals to someone for the following month. Presently, I am seeking Secret Pals for April. If you would like to participate, write me and give me your home address. Once I have the names of all who would like to participate for that month, I will assign secret pals. You must be willing to share your home address You are to send the person I assign you for that month a surprise, i.e., a card, a note, a refrigerator magnet, a bookmark, a lottery ticket, a postcard.... anything specific to that member or your area would be great, but it can be whatever you choose. If anyone has any objections to sending to another country, let me know when you sign up The list will change monthly, so if you want to participate again the following month, you must wrte me and let me know you want to participate again. This is a good reason to start a scrap book! When you receive something from your secret pal, come back here and let us know. Obviously, if anyone wants to be my secret pal, they will need to get someone to write on their behalf for my addresss. I will select someone from the list to pal with. So, someone will have to send to me as well as who I assign them with, and someone will recieve something from their pal, as well as from me! |

Here are some ideas for your pals. Check out their profles and see if you get any ideas from that. Everyone update your profile to include a Hobbies/Interest section at the bottom. Also, watch their posts here, people leave clues about themselves here all the time.
A card, just to say I am thinking of you, or...whatever. Refigerator magnet. Postcard. Key chain. Calendar, pocket or wall. Book. CD. DVD. T-shirt Coffee mug Paper weight Snow globe A cap/hat Flavored coffee/teas samples Wind sock Yard/porch ornament Something for their home office or work desk photo frame Poster Candles, incense, potpourri Anything they might collect. Memorabilia/souvenir specific to your region of the world. If you're crafty, something you've made. If you bake, some cookies, etc. Anything wacky, goofy, cute! Make them a video of your area. Make them a CD of their favorite music. If your muscially talented, make them a video/CD of you playing/singing. I am sure as we progress other ideas will emerge! |

Well, you guys have made me cry...I've gotten so much more out of all of this than I even imagined. My hope was to bring some folks together that would not have met otherwise, find a place for all the 'misfits', for lack of a better term, including me, to feel at 'home'. Truly, the success of all of this lies on YOUR shoulders. Your willingness to share your personal info, spend a little money in these hard economic times, add yet another errand to your already busy lifestyeles to make this happen, is amazing and so very appreciated. I love you all, in my book, you ARE the heart of Mingle.

I can guarantee I am going to enjoy that Bubble Bath tonight!! I will use thoes tie backs too. I am always having to get more. I wear them alot in the summer in the yard. You couldn't have done ANY BETTER!! And the Flowers! I love the color and Arrangement here they go!
