I had a message on my phone from a company that has a client that wants to buy my domain name.

It's a nice name. Planned to use it for my Belly Dancing and my needle point designs. It a name that will work for both. \

But I got discourage with the web hosting site and their web site builder.

So it isn't currently in use.

But I'm sure not having much luck on finding out what is a good offer and how to figure out what to expect or ask for.

Anyone been through this.

I sold a domain that I wasn't using to a company and did rather well out of it.

What is their offer, and what is the domain name? It's the only way to know if it's a good deal or not.

Ta,

Chris.

I know places like GoDaddy.com offer a marketplace for selling domains (Which I believe they do themselves, not an open marketplace) and often they go for upwards of a couple thousand if they're REALLY good. It's all in the name though. If you ask too high, they may just make a slight tweak and pass you over. I suggest asking for an offer and go from there.

It's midnightbutterflies.com. Named for a needle point sampler in black, silver, and white that I designed. I am kinda curious as to what the person who wants it is going to use it for.

I wouldn't think the domain is particularly valuable, what have they offered?
