I like the way someone put it this morning on the radio. They were talking about losing your spouse (to death) and instead of mourning, dealing with the fact that they had "moved on" like someone does when they break up.
You don't think of it as 'moved on' when someone you are in a relationship with dies..but that's so true. If they 'move on' we will have to as well. But Cathy's daughter in law will need a lot of healing to do that, especially since this was so sudden.
And Cathy will need us in the days ahead much more than just now. Much more.

I am in complete awe and gratitude of such a wonderful outpouring of love, prayers and condolences. I couldn't possibly thank you enough. Dan, I love that picture too. Anytime I close my eyes and think of you Lisa I can just feel that hug! I've copied many of the poems and prayers in case my daughter-in-law would like to use any of them. Blessings back on all of you.

Well close those eyes and imagine it as often as you like! There is nothing really that any of us can do, but we are here if you ever need us, even if you just want some silliness to take your mind away for a short while. |

As we share our needs with each other we can bring them to the Lord and He will bring the healing, restoration and intervention needed. Another good thing about sharing our needs with each other is that others may have experienced the same thing and so therefore can give the support and understanding that is needed. Having a network of friends around you praying for anything that comes up is such a powerful thing. It can bring comfort and support to the one in need. We need to continue to bring each other’s needs to the Lord. Tremendous power is available from our Lord As we pray with hearts in one accord |

Cathy has given me her addy if anyone wants to send a card .. just write me.
She says her DIL is really struggling, which of course we would expect. Pray extra hard for her because she is expecting & this could be critical for the baby .. Her name is Sandi

Beautiful sweet angel Kristi.
Cathy said it was ok to give the following info .. again if you want her addy email me. Steven's wife Sandi is really reeling, I'm concerned of a possible miscarriage since she suffers with anxiety anyway. Little Steven is 3 and Kaleigh is 2, neither having the capacity to comprehend what's happened to their father who has been their primary caretaker their whole lives. Their daughter on the way is to be named Gianna but the nickname Bella is going to be used. Again .. please send thoughts and prayers her way .. this family needs a boatload of them. "On the day I called, you answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul" Ps 138.3 (((((( We love you Cathy ))))))
