I was at a site where they had the option to pick a 'tag' line that was automatically put at the bottom of every post you made. Can we get that here? I'm getting tired of forgetting to put 'Don't Panic!' at the end of every post.

I wrote a handy little app a while back to let you copy multiple strings (text) to the clipboard and selectively bring them up from a popup (actually a popup menu)to paste. It can (optionally) capture CTRL-C, add by typing into a list, or read/write from/to an ASCII (txt/rtf) file. I wrote it because at a place I did some hardware stuf for, they had to put duplicate data into multiple forms but it's good to keep common lists in (usernames, etc) that you need to repeat often. In this guys case, copy and paste will work since it's only one item but if anyones interested, I'd be happy to put it up somewhere. BTW, SHIFT-INS will also paste. |
