There is so much wisdom to attain from Native Americans. If only each individual that lives in this country would take a little time to learn from them, I believe we would have more peace here as a people. Of course this is just a opinion, yet give it a try. Spend 10 minutes today reading up on Native American Spiritual Quotes or wisdom that the elders once gave.

I will start with one quote and if you have one to share please add another for us to contemplate on.

Honor the sacred.
Honor the Earth, our Mother.
Honor the Elders.
Honor all with whom we
share the Earth:-
Four-leggeds, two-leggeds,
winged ones,
Swimmers, crawlers,
plant and rock people.
Walk in balance and beauty.

There is One God looking down on us all. We are all the children of One God.

The sun, the darkness, the winds,..are all listening to what we have to say.

One thing to remember is to talk to the animals. If you do, they will talk back to you. But if you don't talk to the animals, they won't talk back to you, then you won't understand, and when you don't understand you will fear and when you fear you will destroy the animals, and if you destroy the animals, you will destroy yourself.

Well if I could talk to animals, just imagine it, chatting with a cheetah all day long...

Out here, we have Dan Brown (aka, the Tracker) in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, home of the Jersey Devil (aka, my ex-wife); who keeps much Native tradition alive.

My wife is half native indian from central America though. The other half is Spanish. What a combination right. lol

She keeps alot of traditional values of her culture alive.

Very interesting culture the Mayans where indeed.

other days she is a true Spaniard though with hot temper and demanding prospectslaugh

I think there is a way to communicate with animals. Not in the sense of a language like you joke around with, but in a way of using other ways.

I see it done alot at the Indian Reservation I go to. To live with nature is also to be able to communicate with it.

It is very interesting indeed and I am sure since your ex wife was a native that you know what I am talking about.

Grown men can learn from very little children
for the hearts of the little children are pure.
Therefore, the Great Spirit may show to them
many things which older people miss.
