Dear diary....the word of the day is SHELLSHOCKED......BEWILDERED....DAZED AND CONFUSED... Tonight at work...a patient, not mine but used to be mine, was choking during dinner hour. It took 5 of us doing the heimlich manuever and pounding on her solar plexus. We grabbed her and got her on the floor eventually and got some of what was in her mouth out. She turned blue and purple and her eyes were bulging out and it was grotesque.....but it was too late.

sorry, gypsy you know what is weird???? Who do I talk to??? A psychologist? a pschiatrist? a counsellor? I wouldnt tell them anything....nothing can be done.
