What if i make that decision today to call it quits?

To throw in the towel and cut both my wrist,

To walk into traffic or jump off a cliff.

I'll close my eyes,
say my goodbyes,
one more prayer, end all the cries.

Give away all that i own, although there isn't much left,

For the life that i lived this is surely what i get.

I feel around in the darkness, cause i'm used to it there,

No squinty eyes just distant stares.

I want to walk in the light

I'm trying to love and to care,

But these burdens aren't easy, they're hard for me to bear.

My family, my wife, I wonder who cares ?

On and on and on, so long and it keeps dragging on.

I don't know what lies ahead,

I can't see where i'll be,

I just keep fighting this battle thats raging in me.

Hope, Love, Comfort... I aint got em'

I've wallered so low I have to reach up,... just to touch the bottom.

And i declared to the dead who had already died, are happier than the living who are still alive,
but better than both is he who has not yet been,

Who has not yet seen the evil that is done under the sun.

In the depths of my sorrow i cried out to the Lord.

I cried out "Oh God I can't take anymore" !

This life that I've lived , the way that i think,

I'm thirsty oh God just give me a drink!,

I'm hungry oh God my soul it feels starved,

I don't want human touch, I want into your arms !

Drinking and drugs are temporary teases,

I need something stronger,

I think i need Jesus !

I've heard the Lord is close to the broken-hearted,And save those crushed in spirit.

God is so close.... so close.. I just know, I can feel it.

Then i hear His voice and i know he means buisness,

He says "Get up ! and get moving I have a plan to see you through,

No time for questions,

Just do as I tell you,

I heard when you knocked I opened the door'

You shall not live in that miry pit anymore.

Your sins are forgiven,

Your mind is renewed,

Tell the world what I've done for you,

Tell the world the good news.

How I delivered you from bondage, and set your mind free,

For I am in you and the Father is in me.

I'm going to give you prosperity,

Give you life,

Give you health.

I'll teach you to be a righteous man, to die to your self.

To stand against the devils schemes as it is written in Ephesians,

The full armor of God, you're a soldier for Jesus.
