Chit! I just chased some intruder away outside my house. Scared me for a minute but I think I scared him more, lol. He fled saying he was just walking between the houses. I told him to get %&$# away from my house and he took off.

Do you get dolts rambling about in yards that aren't their property? If so, you should consider looking into some means for self-protection, either in the form of a guard dog or a firearm (depending on the laws in your state, that is). There's no telling just who will be wandering into your yard the next time... |

I don't know what the laws are there in Missouri, but you can't do a damn thing here in California-
In order to protect yourself from an assailant, there has to be "fear for life" present... meaning that you had to be scared for your life before you could do anything, even when it's quite obvious that there's a robber in your home. And THAT would mean that the trespasser would have have to have a weapon on him at the time of trespassing. Property theft or damage at the time mean nothing to the police. On the other hand, Arizona's laws are a bit different- you have the right to protect yourself the second any uninvited guests show up on your property. |
