Well, I just came back from the Beach. I walked the boardwalk and the sun really felt good.
This is a simple thing in life that didn't cost anything today. That will change after Memorial Day

A day without cell phones, email, and the internet for a walk in the park and ice cream cones.

The smell of cut grass indicating spring is here.

As a kid, the only concern is Saturday morning cartoons (circa 1975 before todays crap), and a bowl of Cheerios.

A time when holding hands was exciting or thinking about a first kiss.

I miss the sun too. I live in CT and we had a gray winter. The good thing is the sun melted most of the ice that was all over the place. I was so tired of tip toeing around.

My favorite shoes don't have shoelaces.

We seem to forget when we were younger how it felt sitting outside with our friends eating ice cream and the only thing on our minds was who was going to be it in tag. As we sat there with the sun shinning on our faces and not a care in the world.

Sometimes we need to reflect on those times take your kids or grand kids or go to the park and watch others kids as there faces light up. Just sitting there eating your ice cream with the sun upon your face.

And remember at times we need to see the world around us and enjoy the little things in life we once enjoyed.

Like when my work week gets so busy I forget how fun it is to take a few moments and end the day reading with my girls before bed.
