I see thru all the little things you do

Through these eyes filled with,
empathy and pain
I watch as you eagerly choose the path
of least resistance.
You walk away with swaying hips,
glancing back
I notice the painted lips
You slowly reach out and take
self destructions hand.
Blindly you follow, letting
deceit lead you away
You lie in the arms of sabotage
drinking nightly of his cheap words
disguised as fine wine.
Quickly you become
embroiled in a life entwined
with regrets and denial.
Unable to discern one
from the other you
choose the road to regret

For some, the road to regret ends up being the path to resurrection.

Yes it does, just to bad some have to experience regret.
