My Prayer…….
On a warm spring night, I sit and I gaze.
The heavens so bright, I picture your face.
I look at the stars, As they dance in their place.
A feeling came over me, One of amazing grace.

Stars in full sparkle, The moons bright shine.
Must have been heaven, A feeling so divine.
A shiver with a tingle, Runs up my spine.
Visions of you, Waltz threw my mind.

Just at that moment, From across the sky.
I saw something flash, From the corner of my eye.
My thoughts turn to wonder, Is this a sign?
A connection between souls, From deep inside.

This feeling I had, From deep in my heart.
Like nothing before, One set apart.
A feeling so warm, Can't deny that it's real.
If I could harness that love, You'd know how I feel.

Streaking from the heavens, In the midnight blue.
A shooting star I did see, Hoping for a love so true.
My thoughts turn to prayer, As I'm thinking of you.
All that I wish, Is for your dreams to come true.
