Microchips under the skin. Considering the amount of data a chip can hold, and the numerous connections to other peoples personal information that a singe individuals chip can hold, THIS is definately the ultimate in "Big Brother" concept.

This has been going on for some time now, it's not as new as they portray it to be.

A social security number, drivers lisence or state picture ID as well all the other information that lenders have on a person, when combined can tell more about a person than even that individual remembers.

Now add in all those things we do to "protect" our children - footprints (at birth) finger prints and pictures (just in case of abduction) or a worse case scenario, (identify a body). Consider that the U.S. is currently attempting to form an on-line cental medical file center. Add to that police records, dental records.

All of those things, and more, can create a more comprehensive biography of an individual than that person could ever compose on thier own. But-for the most part, all that information is somewhat limited. At least as far as how far the "other person" contacts to that individual go.

But add a microchip and there could be no end to what might be placed on that chip.

At the moment it's time consuming, difficult and sometimes impossible to gather ALL the data from ALL the miscellaneous sources - BUT not so with a microchip.

But what if I'm in an accident and can't speak for myself or I'm diabetic and found in a coma, couldn't that chip save my life.
What if my child is abducted or is hurt and can't even give their name.

There will be a millions "wonderful" reasons for such a chip and each will pinpoint exactly, the nature of your greatest fears.

What we have to consider, however, is the quality of our life. If freedom is a thing to die for, then why would anyone compromise it simply to aleviate the fear of a 'possibility'? What are the "chances" of your worst fear coming to fruition vs what does freedom mean to you?

Consider all those who have died to protect the ideal of freedom - not to mention all those supporting current 'war' efforts.

Must hypocracy make the skin weak enough to accept such a 'chip'?
