Most of the staff and alot of the children are sick at my job. I have the flu. I have been running high fevers, have lost my voice, have congestion, and a horrific cough.
They called me today and told me if I didn't come to training classes tonight (fever and all) they are going to cut my hours down to 20 hours a week. THIS IS A CHURCH I WORK AT!!! I'm just a little pissed! So I'm on my way to work right now @#Iu$q#*. Did I mention I feel like death!? |

Been there and done that I work for a newspaper and U have to be pretty much legally dead to get a sick day!!!!

what an attitude they seem to have ( the church) I would do every concievable thing I can think of to make them all sick.. even spitting in their coffee, licking all the cups, coughing every chance I got right in their faces. Especially the person who threatened to cut your hours?... I don't like churches to begin with... and this is one reason why ...

My boss said I expect to see you tomorrow and I told her "You can expect all the kids in my class to be sick too."
