so , i've been dating a man that is in training for military intel in the army,

we have tons in common, love the same things, want the same things out of life for ourselves and our family, both single parents doing what we can to take care of our children, during our phone call tonight he told me he would like for us to get married before he is deployed which will happen shortly after he graduates in about 8-9 months..

looks like by the end of the year if nothing happens to change our plans i'll be getting married again

Good luck. Hopefully the chemistry does not change suddenly on you. I would say wait for a few months before jumping in blind but it is your decision.

but at the same time i also know that things can change our plans at anytime, nothing like our relationship ending or anything like that just something that might keep us from getting married when we would like to, with him being in the military you never can tell whats gonna happen

this man makes me happy , even with everything else going on in my life to bring me down , having him to talk to when i need someone to listen gives me peace and hope ,

the dream and reality always have to battle out in my mind it seems lol

what dif. does it make how long we have been dating regardless its still going to be almost a year before we are even able to get married so we have time to get to know each other even better than we do already, this isnt someone i met on the internet or just recently i've known him for 8 years

It matters a lot. So many people decide to get married too quickly and it all goes wrong. Look at the divorce statistics.

while i do appreciate honesty, i'm not jumping in blind, the plan is to get married before the end of the year yes, but before then we plan to get to know each other better than we already do, we have 8 years of history as good friends , and yes i agree that many ppl have been married too soon and its ended badly but there are just as many that had a long relationship and engagement that got married and ended the same way ,

as long as we both work to make our marriage great and have the faith that it will last we will be fine..
