SO when I am going through the list, and I click yes to the guys, and I look at my profile, and they are on my "Your mutual matches", what does that mean, that they looked at mine and said yes?

Not necessarily, but sometimes. Mingle is constantly automatically putting people in your Mutual Match queue based on some magical, secret alogorithm that sometimes includes people on another planet. And it does the same to everyone, usually letting you see people in your area.

If one of you selects 'yes', the other of you gets a notice that 'hey, someone on your list of potential Mutual Matches said "yes"'. But it doesn't tell you which one. Since I rarely get anbody in my list, I usually know who it was because they're the only one in my queue.

Anyhow, I pretty much ignore mutual match.

So they prolly didnt even see me, huh?

They either aren't checking their matches (often the case) or they said 'no'. But unless they check their MM's regularly, they probably don't know that you said 'yes'.

If one does say 'yes' to your 'yes', the mutual match fairy sends both of you an email telling you of your potential true love connection.

Email? I dont understand?

Mingle mail. If you both say 'yes' to each other, mingle notifies you that you've been mutually matched and shows you who it is.

So it would show on my email? Not where the mutual match thing shows?

Yes. At the time both of you say 'yes' you both get notified by mail. Then it's up to you to contact each other.

Well, it also puts their profile pic on your 'My Account' page under 'Mutual Matches'. I guess that's an easy way to tell.

Here, I'll just go and ask to be mutual matched to you (people can actually ask to be mutually matched from your profile). I'll ask to be Mutual Matched to you, you go through your MM's and say 'yes' to me and see what happens. We can delete them after.

In the mutual match section, how does that work?

My experience with the mutual match has been uneventful. I have only spoke to one mutual match and nothing came of it. The other matches just sit on the mutual match board forever until I delete them.

If your asking how to work it, you go into it and mark yes, no or maybe to being interested in them and if they mark yes or maybe to you and you mark yes or maybe to them then they will show up on your mutual match board. After that it is up to you two to contact each other.

Well, I didn't get a mail on mingle, but I did get a mail sent to my external email address saying I had been mutually matched.

If you've set up mingle to send notifications to, say a yahoo account, then it does send an email there.

And to delete it, go to the My Acount page, and on your page click on the 'View my Mutual Matches'. You'll get a page where you can click the X and delete it. I'm going to delete mine. I don't know what happens to yours if I delete mine. I guess we'll see.

She likely was crushed that you didn't respond sooner. Probably years of therapy ahead for her.
