Topic: Book I "Moving Day" | |
---|---|
I recently had the opportunity to order this book. A week ago it arrived. Yesterday I finished it. Reading it was like watching a movie, and I usually don't get up in the middle of a movie. Thus I found it very hard to put down.
The process was very interesting, and I wonder if anyone else found this to be so? For me it was more than reading a book/watching a movie. The "Parts" could be taken out of it, analyzed, reflected upon, even wondered about in my 'heart of hearts' how much of this might already be going on. What say you? |

No pay just serendipity! Your five dollars is in the mail! You're absolutely right about the "parts" -- deliberately done because many of them are going to turn up again, in one context or another. You will also have noticed that I left a few "loose ends" hanging -- like the "Khattam Shud" graffiti -- "Khattam Shud" is Arabic for "completely finished" (I borrowed this from a Salman Rushdie book called "Haroun and the Sea of Stories") but it turns out that it has another, totally different meaning somewhere else. This does not get mentioned again until the last book, though....! |

I considered buying it the other day. Maybe when I am rich! LOL Or maybe if I send lex 20 bucks, he'll send me both books
