kerosene lamps? wood for the fire...Im thinking.....sustainability. OMG lightbulb moment!!! Design houses that are completely solar, wood powered and make them cheap enough for the average buyer.

I often wonder
what
Laura Ingalls would do??? 
...they were poor pioneer farmers from pepin wisconsin just 12 miles from my house. They were survivalists. They made do with what they had. Different times. I'd like to see gypsy kill a deer, gut it, and cook it. Or a coon, or fox, or turtle, or chickens, and turkeys. Or elk, or bear. Because you know what? That's what laura ingalls would do. I've been in her childhood home. Little house in the big woods. Laura was cool.
Nahhhhhhhh I would just get pa to do it........or even Almanzo!!!  Wow!!! I didnt know thats where she was from??

...I'm very knowledgable on laura ingalls wilder. Her history parallels my family history of the same areas in pioneer farming. My great great grandfather settled the area and is in a few books and retired in pepin as a civics leader and civil war hero. Why do you think I moved back to the area. To be with my family and see if I can take on the tradition.

A farm is ok.......but where are the stores???? I need stores and ALOT OF THEM!!!! And people....because all those animals you want to kill will become my friends!!!

Blow dryers are not so good for WARPING hockey stick blades .. best to use oven elements

...no. Lauras first scribes were "The little house in the big woods" books. Stories of when she was very young and living as pioneer farmers in pepin wisconsin. On lake pepin logging was big business along with fishing. Lauras father did well in those things and enjoyed them. When charles ingalls was offered a millright job in walnut grove minnesota- he moved his whole family there and worked as a sawyer, millright, and tradesman along with his small farm. The second set of stories were about the walnut grove life- the little house on the prairie. TV overdramatized so many of the real stories. But yeah. My great great grandfather and lauras fathers paths crossed. Everyone knew everyone back then and towns were small.

...silly girl. You have no idea what I'm going to do. Once out of debt- I'm gonna be a pioneer farmer hell bent on self sufficiency. Here- in pepin. Not british where the **** is that columbia. Now you know my goals. Debt first. Self sufficiency last. Let me know where you wanna be. I will be on my mini farm. Cooking, canning, growing, harvesting, conserving, sharing, and loving.

the last person I knew to do that........he ended up committing suicide!!
