will there come a time in your life when you will know that it's "all down hill" from there? for me,if i ever need a scooter-chair to get around,a portable oxygen tank to breath or adult diapers i will pretty much be ready to toss in the towel...be seeing you

My son will need assistance all of his life. But I don't see him throwing in the towel. He probably has more brains than alot of adults I know.

The only time to toss in the towel is if you have a terminal illness and your final days have more physical pain & agony than anything else. Everything else can be worked around.

I would not be negative about a scooter or wheelchair, that does not make ur life over by any means.

I dont think we should throw in the towel until we r tired of life, and that will vary according to the individual, and how full our life has been, but it is defo something i wouldnt plan!

I will be holding onto life for as long as i possibly can, because i LOVE life, even when times r difficult. As long as we r alive, we can feel love, and thats wat i will hold on to, until i am too weak not to.

Besides, ive never been one to throw in the towel, im a fighter me :)

Who wants to be dead? There's no life in it.

Try telling the parents of a child who has suffered brain damage that.....im sure they dont see it as a waste of money, but rather a way of holding on to their child as long as they possibly can.

I plan on looking my best and staying fit and active until the day that I do actually die. I want to experience life from here on out. I lived so sheltered for too many years.

from what ive seen working in a hospital for yrs, enjoy the life you have, there is always someone that has it worse than you do. But when its time to go, drop the denial & stop struggling to face the truth that life doesnt last foreverspock
