What is your take on them?
How long should you email? How long do you wait to meet? Where do you meet? What if that person talks to you everyday and then disappears for days....what should you do? Is it possible to have a long distance relationship? |

It's possible but unless one of you has definite plans of moving they rarely last.

Very few of these make it much past a good friendship.
Can be some great vacations, meeting people. |

It really depends on how much each party wants to invest time wise.
And if someone disappears for days without saying a word beforehand, I would give him the boot fast. It's either you want a serious relationship, then you should give an approximate account of how long you are gone, or you don't, and then you are not worth keeping. |

Is it possible to have a long distance relationship? tough stuff HG you never stop emailing then the phone calls start you meet when both of you feel comfortable where you meet all depends on your situation if you have a real long distance relationship the other person doesn't just disappear and if you don't hear from them obviously you contact them. something may be wrong. but then again i would do that for someone i cared for who was close also. a relationship is a relationship. the distance just makes you have to work harder. all depends on how much energy, effort and funds you have to invest. a very good friend of mine reminds me "intention equals results" |

HG, we could have talked about this in private.
You know I would never lie to you. Don't listen to all these other people. Just put me on your bank account & I will handle all your affairs. Ohh, by the way, I hold title to a bridge over a local lake, going to put a toll booth on it, how about investing. |

I really believe no response is a response. Some people are just into playing games, especially when they know how much it hurts.and are well aware of your feelings. , |

Mucic said it best
"INTENTION = RESULTS" If they intend to use you, they will try. If they intend to build a relationship, they will try. We hope for #2, but NEED to be aware of #1. |

There are always things that can happen by accident, but if they happen the second and third time, I'd just run for cover.

everybody is different, butt for me 50 miles is about as long distance as I will try to do. If I like someone I want to spend time with them, not just an occasional weekend or so.

I would say beyond a 3-4 hour drive is too far. I had sort of a "long distance phone relationship" (800 miles) He eventually found someone closer which is always a possibility. If you haven't heard for a few days, would you call a girlfriend? That's my test. |
