Each day is an incredible journey for the wee small animals.
If we equated ourselves to them, then we would crawl and scurry for miles through brush and all the cold and dangers along the way...just because we would need to get around and know our world. For creatures, such as cats, the roads and many other things are not a convenience at all. Those are just other interesting and potentially dangerous parts of daily life. Smokey has been around long enough to realize when it is best to hole up in a secluded spot while some situation changes and then it is safer to make the way back home. |

Just pooping could be an impossible experience for the cat, at that temperature. And then, how would the cat bury it? Sheesh. So, you will let us know when the cat gets home? |

During lunchtime at a local medical park building, there is an upstairs smorgasboard laid out for the upper floor medical staff.
I go past it when I make pickups/deliveries of test specimens. When I see hefty people lumbering out of there with two or three containers of stuff, I have to leave the width of the hallway for them, so then I take the elevator. Did I ever tell you that I cannot smell? Food is just visual and texture, to me, with a little flavor. So it is sort of funny when I seen people following their noses down the hallways when the smorgasboard room opens up. I don't even notice the aromas as I go through the place...but they are On A Mission! It's like--"Stand aside! There's food!!" |
I figured......this huge guy could probably find food ANYWHERE!!!!!
The weird thing is....there were no food places near the place. |
