I'll usually just swing through someplace and pick something up to go. If I have to sit and eat it alone, I might just as well do it at home. What's the difference?

Love it, I can eat a good meal, get waited on, not have to clean up afterwards, and don't have to try and hold some inane conversation with someone.

dining at a restaurant alone? I went to Europe by myself about a year and a half ago, and I would go to eat somewhere and sit by myself. To my surprise, I would always have people asking if they could share my table. This has never happened to me in the states.

dining at a restaurant alone? No Even though I try to tip really well and other things waite staff usually appreciate but it is like they can't hurry you or interrupt you enough. Then you have to stand at the register for ever while couples come in in droves argueing and treating each other like crap. Not worth it. Where I live now they don't do spit to encourage singles to have fun. Unless it costs something like three months rent to attend. Thinking about starting something up.
