I am taking a Human Growth and Development class at school! And my
assignment is to present a moral dilemma to someone and have them answer
the questions that follow!!! So, if you all would help me out i would
appreciate it. It's due tomorrow and i would be submitting your answers
for the assignment...no names though of course.....I hope this is

In Europe, a woman was near death from a special kind of cancer. There
was one drug that the doctors thought might save her. It was a form of
radium that a druggist in the same town had recently discovered. the
drug was expensive to make, but the druggist was charging ten times what
the drug cost him to make. He paid $400 for the radium and charged
$4,000 for a small dose of the drug. The sick woman's husband, Heinz,
went
to everyone he knew to borrow the money and tried every legal means, but
he could only get together about $2,000, which is half of what it cost.
He told the druggist that his wife was dying, and asked him to sell it
cheaper or let him pay later. But the druggist said, "No, I discovered
the drug and I'm going to make money from if." So, having tried every
legal means, Heinz gets desperate and considers breaking into the
man's store to steal the drug for his wife.

close to my heart,be it right or wrong,then a sinner I am.

Stand by his wife becuase he wants to and because he loves her,without
giving false promise.

entitles to some profit but not that much.

thought about it only answer i see is maybe a study is being done she
can get into or he's just stuck and needs to search through insurances
and dr.s that may be willing to go the extra mile

Answered as if I was the one in question.

And yes,are moral choice,being are judgment to do or not to do,outways
another,to me it does.

Example the love of a parent doesn't always have them doing what is
morally correct.

The only thing I might have done different, is begged a lil more for $,
maybe taken out a loan for the difference so she could of gotten the
med.

I think Kojack hit the nail on the head there - have *all* legal means
*truly* been explored? We can't have people stealing things just
because they've convinced themselves 'it was their only choice' - and
yet, to save a loved one's lie, if it -truly is- the only choice, I
would steal that drug. And pay for it later, both with money and jail
time.

I'm going to skip the other questions, to avoid giving a 4 page answer.
