I didn't hear about that. How were the bikers involved? Were they clubs,
or solos?

I am so glad to hear of a happy ending, no matter who was doing the
looking.

Actually for many many years Bikers have been doing things to help
others for as long as I can remember. They just have never gotton
recognized for the things they did. Most of the time they did help
others. But did not want to bring attention to themselves for the
impression that most had against them in the first place. Years ago when
people saw Bikers coming down the road they were sure all of them were
on drugs and stole for a living. Sure alot of them was but.. I can
actually remember back 35 years ago lol shhhhss long time I know but a
group of Bikers lived in the same neighborhood as we did if I recall
right the name of he group was The Bandidos. The only reason they stuck
in my mind was yeah they were rough looking. But they came into the
little snack bar my sister and brother worked at once in a while to grab
a smoked saugsage which I will admit was not in the nicest neigherhood
at the time. I was in there and there was some trouble from the local
High School and a couple of the boys threaten my sister cause they were
just being jerks. Well all and behold the bikers that was in there that
day overheard the conversation needless to say those boys were told real
quick not to show there faces were they did not belong. Also about 2
weeks later there was a young girl with kids that was having a hard time
making it she also came in and worked part time she was only like 17 the
group gathered money food and clothing for her and her baby. And there
was no intention involved on there benifit except to help someone in
need. To this day I do have a respect for Bikers I have yet to meet one
that was not just as polite as they could be. They work hard and play
hard the ones I know to this day (Brother & his buddies are all Bikers)
But I can say one thing they work hard for a living, an hell have
better homes than a lot of others I know and they never miss those Toy
runs.
