Is anybody familiar with a band called the Trees of Life from Japan?

I stumbled across a Japamation called Tamala 2010, A Punk Cat In Outer Space and soon afterwords got the soundtrack CD with music by The trees Of Life.

I do not speak very much Japanese at all but the music is nothing like I heard before. I appreciate artistic talent of any kind and this band just hit me just right.

The animation it came from switched from 3d, manga, and black and white, Hello Kitty, Noir, and classic mythos. You had better have a taste for strange animation to appreciate this one but the music....

All I can say is for a Japanese band...

I would like to find more of their material but it seems that they are an elusive band to those not in the know. What I have found out so far is that they did do three albums not counting this one but I cannot get the titles or locate any of their music anywhere and I had to get both the CD and DVD from Japan! Thank You Amazon Japan!

If you are looking for a new animation experience this is it but be warned, it is a thinker's animation and requires you pay attention.
