why would i go to a support group for alcoholics? and citizen joe i am not in Dont Even Know I Am Lying(denial)...i honestly havent even drank since he left...even tho i wanted to get totally shi* faced to make the pain go away i never have

why would i go to a support group for alcoholics? and citizen joe i am not in Dont Even Know I Am Lying(denial)...i honestly havent even drank since he left...even tho i wanted to get totally shi* faced to make the pain go away i never have Alanon is not for alcoholics. It's for the people we've made neurotic by our alcoholism. Trust me, it's worth a look see. yes,..it`s for the people whose lives were effected by someone else`s ( a parent`s ) drinkin or abuse,.. but as for not going there  yourself,..good for you,.eventhough it would temporarily mask the pain,.. it would only add to it down the road,..
what it comes down to is,.until your realize something is wrong..you won`t get help,..and the pain will continue to manifest itself in your life,..

Ala Non is for any family member that may have been affected could be a mother of a child that has the problem too.. Or a grand parent of someone, a sister, brother , cousin..
