The world will change,
more swiftly than a storm,
Yet I fear not what will become,
but more my actions,

will I stand still and firm,
afraid and weak,
hoping I will still be here,

when every last freedom is gone,
when the flesh is pealed back,
and I am branded,
while cloths are ripped,
and hair is burnt,
lungs filled with ash and soot,
will I have done nothing?

NO MORE!
when the tired minds break,
and the young molded,
will I push back at the invisible,
and take up a role worth dieing for,
will I hold my scars tightly,
and wear their false name humbly,
would I bleed for those who curse me,
and face armies alone,

We are the watchers,
we see everything,
but we are blind to look outside,
just barely outside the lines,
