I'm regretting not going to the inauguration. Of course, I say that now from the comfort of my living room, if I was actually down there, not sure I'd feel the same.
Anyone else wish they were there? ![]() |

Anyone else wish they were there? ![]() Not I. Watching from the comfort of my nice warm house is fine by me... but then, I've already seen President Obama up close and in person (he visited where I work while on the campaign trail). ![]() |

My brother and SIL are down there and have tix to one of the balls tonight.

Now going to a ball... whole different dynamic! THAT, I'd travel for. :-)

Yeah, that I'd brave the cold and crowds for. He got last minute tix the other day and had a heck of a time finding a tux

Good luck on the pics... I heard that the cell phone companies are worried about their network crashing due to people taking/sending pictures and trying to call everybody and their brother about what they're seeing - even installed extra transmission towers around the DC area.
Way too much of everything for me... [snuggles in and waits for the snow, TV on] ![]() |

There is NO WAY I'd want to be there. I can't imagine the crowds and the troubles getting around, getting food, finding restrooms, etc. No way!!! TV is GREAT!!!!

No crowds for me, tv will be just as exciting. I am already excited for Obama and his family. I bet they are on pins and needles.

Oh I agree, which is why I opted out of going. But, watching things on tv this morning, I just kept thinking this is such a historic moment and I'm right here, I should go. I should take my son. And people just look so happy and like they're having such a good time. But, well, done is done, too late now
