good one parent family....
my kids know lotsa love, consistence, devotion (mama would walk through snow, fire, and ice) my family may have its flaws...but love, honesty, and openness is not lacking in my home. discipline is something Ima working on |

I was raised by a single mom. I got into trouble but never enough to get the police called. I knew better. My mom did the best she could until i was 13, then i had to go to a foster home due to mental problems that my mom was not able to handle. Before people start calling her a bad mom, my mother is handicapped, she is in a wheelchair with a broken back and 1 leg. She really did the best she could and i was a pretty good kid.
I love my mom and am grateful for everything she sacrificed to take care of me. I tell her this all the time, and now that she's having problems, I will take care of her like she took care of me. |

She has a broken back. She must be in a lot of pain. I hope she heals quickly.

My children didn't get that option of having their father, he passed away when my youngest was two. My children turned out great they are college grad. they are upstanding adults and I am very proud of them and who they are. I actually not only respect them but I like them for who they are. I think it is a cop out to state that children raised in a one parent home is getting short changed. Sorry I believe it is not the quanity of parenting but the quality.

No offense Mirror but to me this is really a silly question when you boil it down to the basics. Which is better "a good family or a bad family"? Doesn't matter if there is 1 parent, 2 parents or 4 parents (i.e. step-parents) when the children come from a loving supportive family anything is possible. |

tough one Mayor. only response I can think to give is a statistic from justice dept concerning 1996 - 2006, 78% of ppl incarcerated come from single mother homes, which make up approx 30% of the population. Maybe it takes both, even if it is a tad bit on the unhappy side for the parents? "runs and ducks for cover from the flaming darts headed his way" Here comes a flaming dart so you might wanna duck now What about those that are raised by a single father home? None of them ever end up in jail or prison? Think you might wanna find more updated statistics. There are a huge number of men raising children on their own now and I find it hard to believe that none of the children they raised never found their way into trouble. Your statistics sound abit Freudian to me. |

nothing more good can ever be created less it is first seen each have to follow it's own heart, and make no commandment and encouragement and enticement and perpetuation in the thinking of others, that there is some law of good for what is best for EACH OTHERS PATH?
if truth make anything free, then such thing can only come from the FREE heart of each one, following what is even most discouraged, IN FAITH IN ITSELF WHICH LEAD TO FREEDOM? what holy god deem some as unholy, if god be unconditional love? for any human to follow it's own heart is the scariest thing, and to FOLLOW THE MIND IS THE EASIER THING, THAT ONLY SEEK TO PROTECT SELF and preserve it wants and wished and desired words from others? how is not each THING THAT EXIST not breathing breath that itself cannot create, so each breathing then COME FROM THE SAME SOURCE, whatever that source is to be, as has there been found TWO DIFFERENT FORMS OF BREATH? how is it that anything can say to another, do this and do that, BUT THESE that say WILL NOT BE THERE TO BEAR ALL that comes from the doing of their words if they fail? who INSTRUCT WITH COMMANDMENTS OF WHAT IS GOOD FOR ANOTHER? IF the path of each was to be only ONE way or thing, then the faces of each, and the parents of each, and the birth place of each, would have BEEN ALL INDENTICAL, AND ALL WOULD HAVE BEEN BORN INTO A PLACE THAT ONLY "ONE SET OF ACTIONS" COULD BE LIVED OUT BY ALL? could such teach by living what create wisdom and knowing for EACH ONE WHAT IS MOST PRECIOUS AND WORTHWHILE TO EACH? if the collective destiny of humanity be a living or lived out family tree, then each within mankind be as a leaf OF ONE TREE OF BREATH, and each leaf of the tree are DIFFERENT and UNIQUE, but just do not THINK the same, as "unique only begotten one of a kind leaves", that could not have been created from IDENTICAL THINKING OR PERCEPTIONS? what greater purpose can humanity find to bring itself together, besides some as evil, and some as good, as surely such things would make any love cry, for the pain and lack of peace that come until such is passed away, and all enter into peace and joy......... WHEN EACH LEAF IS RECOGNIZED AS PERFECT IN BEING NOT "IDENTICALLY THINKING" ON PURPOSE, and what DESTINY CREATED, then would not each be able to take GREATER root within itself, and grow quicker, that come from the resistence in energy created by the leaves to the left and right? do not such things only serve to sever mankind from it's own greater purpose, and allbeit this was intentioned for a time, is there not better days when things of pain and suffering have been learned, and better and greater knowing does now SEE, there is nothing on this planet that would be one ounce of fun or good and happy, less there were OTHERS to enjoy it all with...... the mind decieve itself into thinking it want, by making ANYTHING OFF LIMITS? anything can do whatever it want? who is stopping anything, except for the things that onself see or think will come from it's own actions, so HOW IS THIS A LAW OF WHAT IS GOOD OR MORE GOOD, but not just good self preservation? distain of each the other for a law of good moral hearts defined rot the teeth of eating anything but the the fruit that rot the love out of the heart, but when this is passed thru, new teeth can grow and taste of the fruit of unity and commonality, that only cause the teeth of each to sparkle with smiles...... humanity BLOOM when the DIFFERENCES and PATHS OF EACH ARE SEEN AS THE PERFECT WAY ALL WERE CREATED, as a PERFECT WAY to give to each other of ADDED KNOWING AND WISDOM, and keeping each from having to walk the treacherous paina nd seuffering of all 6.7 billion to have GREATER understanding, which create GREATER AWARENESS? could ONE set of eyes could find the knowing that 6.7 billion eyes find? to HAVE to walk in each OTHERS SHOES FOR REAL, would be terribly suffering unto the human feet and hearts, as each would also have to bear the pain and suffering that EACH HUMAN EXPERIENCE ALSO INCLUDED? it is a MUCH BETTER AND PEREFECT WAY TO JUST PROVE HOW OTHERS WORDS MAY BE TRUE, and each time this is DONE, another perception is added unto a brain, INCREASING AWARENESS, UNTIL THE AWARENESS INCREASE TO LARGE ENOUGH TO TRUELY SEE THE WHOLE WORLD AS ONE...... what brain has not far more potential than to only process a knowing of what is right and wrong as wisdom? peace....... |
