i thought this forum was to rate profiles? not pictures... ?

there is no button for rating or for pics.

People do both. At least it's in the rate me and not in the generals.

i dont mind rating someone's profile and pictures together.

i just hate seeing people fishing for compliments and posting topics for people to JUST vote on their picture.

I agree 100%. Can't stand it. They are just looking for validation. I call them "attention whores" (male or female).

I've been here for a while, and you can believe it when I tell you that it will never stop. Sometimes people create dozens of those threads.

You can go into forum settings and eliminate the rate me topic if it really bothers you.

Doesn't bother that much anymore. Most of the time, it's about the picture anyhow even if they dont say it. *shrugs*

Well if a picture(s) is attached it is part of the profile. Usually the most important part. It pays for it to be one that is recieved well. Some opinions expressed are not about the actual beauty of the person but how the picture is percieved to the audience the poster is interested in; does it create interest or dis-interest.

Some people actually have there profile rated because it does give exposure. The more you are seen the better your chances of a response. Not everyone wants to go in the forums.
