While I can't find that verse verbatim in the Bible I have found the verse, "Ye have not because ye ask not." A similar verse is, "Ask and it shall be opened up to you." I just went over and asked my aunt across the street for a glass of water since my water is down. She said her water had frozen up, too but her son-in-law fixed it. She showed me the water faucet on the side of her well pump house if I needed to get more.

The Lord also helps those who can't help themselves. The Lord is ever good.
