I'm 46 and want to meet guys closer to my own age... Seems like I'm the exception not the rule.

I prefer women closer to my age if now a little older. With a real companion, maturety is more of an issue with me. Most everything else can be worked on, but if you're not mature by the time you reach my age....then some one needs a timeout.

Age is crap. I want to meet females with careers who are healthy. I don't care about the age crap. Younger they are, worse shape it seems, and dumber than dirt!

No ma'am you are not the exception here. You are just like myself and know what you want because you have seen or been with the others.

Ummm, no offense, but that doesn't make much sense. Any woman can be healthy, but just like men, it takes time to develop a career, which would suggest older women.
And besides, it shouldn't really matter what your other half does, so long as both are happy with it. My late wife was a nurse for almost 20 years, working with the living. I work in (for lack of a better word) a slaughter house. I was fine with what she did, and she was fine with my career.
I guess for me (and I am sure with most who come here), the idea is for compatabiltiy, and companionship.
