I'm outside, reading in the garden, and being entertained by a new nest
of birds. I think the momma is trying to get her offsrping to fly away
and take care of themselves. The youngster keeps flying back into the
next, to be again evicted, the mother and youngster fluttering to the
ground in one mass of flying feathers and pecking.

Cup of tea, good book, sunshine a balmy day here in suburban Washington
DC. Thoughts of bestirring myself and stretching the hammock out....
