I dunno Miss Jeaniebean, but I don't think I'd ever use the terms "generic" and "divine" in the same sentence...One negates the other, in my way of thinking.

There's nothing generic about God's Holy Spirit.

No disrespect but I also wouldn't term it as "joy, pure and simple", but I might instead call it pure and radiant joy... flowerforyou bigsmile flowerforyou


By "generic" I do not mean "common."

To clarify what I mean by "generic" is that I am saying that this spiritual experience or feeling of "pure and radiant joy" is not exclusive to Christianity or to any particular religious belief.

I call it "JOY pure and simple" because it is natural to me as I have had it as long as I can remember.

Simple implies simplicity, which is what it is to me. Simple and peaceful.
