How do you know if the one you love really loves you back?

You can see it in their eyes

By their actions, by the way they look at you when you are intimate, and by how they treat you in general. Tone, inflection, touch, consideration, thoughtfulness, etc.

That's a good question. Every time I think I know, it turns out I don't.

Thanks, Mirror.
Ya know, a relationship where you say, "Hey honey?" And they reply with "What now?" in an exaggerated sarcastic tone....then they sigh heavily when you ask what they are doing after work.... Well, either they are seriously peeved at you, or they might just not love you. That, to me, sounds like barely tolerating. |

I'm with Lex on this one.

They think about you all the time, and can't wait to see you; they like to show you off to their friends and co-workers,
they make it feel easy. |

I'm with Lex on this one. You can't go by words, because those are just words, and there's usually an agenda behind them. The agenda usually involves someone wanting to "fix" or "domesticate" me. Sorry, not interested. The thing that disturbs me is that you can't go by actions either -- turns out those are just as agendified as the words, if not moreso. |
