I woke up this morning up by embarass minnesota. It was a nice warm record breaking -46 below zero with a -52 below wind chill. It was -33 below in sauk centre minnesota with a -47 wind chill. While putting in fuel I got frostbite on my lower lip and chin. In less than 10 minutes. Its bruised now and looks like I got in a fight. I dropped my wheat in minneapolis and grabbed my stainless steel and it was -7 below zero there. I'm in madison wisconsin now and its -20 at lodi and -16 at madison. Its cold. Deadly cold. Look up the dead sleepwalker in sawyer county wisconsin. Last nite a guy with a sleepwalking disorder went for a stroll- barefoot in his PJs. Dead in 10 minutes.

Is in the 40s here.
Talked to IAM4U last night, he was in Minnesota somewhere, said it was -45 with the wind chill, but wherever he was tonight said it was colder as the wind was stronger and his truck was getting colder. Told him he should think about moving west. Hope you all stay safe and warm. Be careful in this cold, it is definitely deadly. Take care of your lip Longhair, sounds painful. |

I've lived here in Wisconsin all my miserable life. Seriously, this weather system is bitter, moreso than I've seen in years. I cannot stress enough that if you don't have to be out in it, by all means, stay inside. It's just not worth it. If you DO have to be out in it, for God's sake, please dress for the weather. I'd really hate to hear of anybody from here who had to go to the hospital (or worse) just because of something stupid. Be smart. Use your head.
