the title is this 'is very desturbing'. Your first post made a blanket
statement. I am posting my 2 cnts about that blanket statement. While
not perfect and full of loopholes the system does provide help for
children in some cases also.

My mom was not a scam and she provided 2 very troubled young ladies
about 4 years of stability and family till they were ready to make their
own way in this world.

Rather than bash the current system why not get up from your computer
and change it.

From the the post you have made I have seen you to be a caring and
intelligent person. Propose a concrete change to the system and make it
happen with some action. Griping about it ain't goin to change it.

Its just that simple.

We are discussing the original topic. Which is the injustices in the
foster care system. It may not have been what you meant, but it is what
you conveyed. I don't see you getting on Red's case.... then again, she
offered support for your point.... so it's only those who say things you
don't like that cause you any problems.

these things happen. But nothing in this world can prevent them from
happening. We're humans. Humans make mistakes. Humans *fail*. It's that

thousands of children being taken from good homes to be sold to the
"system" is not a trival thing.
