Topic: Snail Mail... | |

Who still gets it? Who still sends it?
Sure, an email is nice...but I still enjoy finding, amongst the bills, a card or handwritten letter...I also enjoy sending hand-made stationery & cards to my friends... Has it become a lost art? |

I still get snail mail. I have a couple pen pals that I write to. I love getting their letters, makes me feel like a little kid, I rush home to read what they wrote to me.

I actually feel sometimes I am out dated since I do write snail mail to my friends and I also send out the thank you cards.
I know what you mean by the surprise little note in the mail that said somebody thought about you enough to actually send something through the mail is special. |

I sure hope not. I do like being able to type and print letters on my computer. Wish I had more selections of pretty paper and envelopes. I wish they had more fonts that are like handwriting. Seems like more and more they are deleteing script which I tend to see as feminine and artistic. I think nothing replaces a hand written letter for intimate communication. |

Have to admit it has been awhile since anything other than bills have been sent out via snail mail. Think it is becoming a lost art. And they said that e-mail would improve our letter writing. Don't think so. Hate text talk, and see it more and more in e-mails.
