So once, how long and heavy was that monster in your hands, obviously caught before you moved.
Up here in Maine, spawing ground for the strippers, we can only fish certain times of the year, fish need to be over 40", or under 26". My keeper was 49" long, 45#  , took 45 minutes to bring in. By the time I got to dock Marine Fishery was there to check it out, darn marine radios.

That one was about 35" long. Used 15 pound test, caught him in only 4 feet of water. Took about 20 minutes to land him. My biggest was 52 inches off Chatham at 3 in the morning. Minimum size in MA is 28 inches, and only 1 keeper a day, used to be 36". I miss the fishing, but traded my fishing rods for golf clubs. I still have the house on the Cape and will get back this summer for both the largemouth and striper fishing.

Wow computers eh? That is such a general answer. Might you be more specific? I will certainly give Kilkenny a spin on Google Earth. Who knows i may even zoom in on your backyard. eh heh. |

But I love the country and the people here, so when the accident was over I just stayed on.
And I took the picture sometime last November, I think. |
